The nursery is very much part of the Brunstfield community with many of our children and staff living and working in the surrounding area. Involvement within the community is very important to the nursery and part of its ethos.We have been going to Gymini at the Eric Liddle centre for many years. We are given a very warm welcome at the Chamberlain Road Nursing Home when we visit to collect a resident for a visit to the nursery. Graham the postman is a local institution. We use the local amenities often with trips to the Hermitage, Library, Gorgie Farm, Blackford pond, the Meadows and Brunstfield Links.

We like to make good use of the local shops.

Every year we hold an open day to raise funds for the sick kidsand we have had many kind donations from the local shops.
