We’ve been completely delighted with the care Forbes have provided for our two daughters. They love their nursery carers and teachers, they’ve made friends, and they are meeting milestones through play and fun activities. The garden is a fantastic resource and they do great trips, as well as Forest Schools. There is a real sense of the nursery as a community. It’s made a huge difference, as a working parent, being so completely confident in the care and attention my girls are getting while I can’t be with them (so much so that I’m slightly dreading them starting school and having to leave Forbes!).

I knew from the moment I first came to visit that it was the right place to put Nico and we have not been disappointed. Nico has turned into a well adjusted, happy, confident boy and a big part of that is down to the nurturing that Forbes has given him.

Forbes is like a family to us. Its hard to express in words how wonderful this nursery is. The kind, caring, authentic approach runs throughout the team. They really care about my kids, which is all that matters. But not only that, they do awesome stuff with the kids, have amazing home cooked food and a garden to rival Peter Rabbits!

We have been using Forbes for 4 plus years for both our son and daughter. Both have absolutely loved going here. The staff are so kind, friendly and welcoming and our kids adored them. The variety of play/tasks and learning they are offered on a daily basis is amazing and keeps them interested.  The garden is great and having the park so close by is also lovely, so they get plenty of outdoors time. The shows at Christmas and at other points of the year are always a joy to go to and there is a lot of effort put into them.  As they move through the years the emphasis on learning through play is emphasised more which helps prepare them for school too.  As a family we have always felt very welcomed and involved with the nursery and staff. I would highly recommend this nursery.

We have seen our two children grow up and blossom at Forbes over the last four years. It is a fantastic environment for children and the ‘home from home’ ethos is always evident.

The children are given lots of different experiences like forest school, yoga lessons, and day trips out. The garden is second to none and the amount of out door time the children get is brilliant.

We feel very lucky to have our children at Forbes. It’s a testament to the nursery that our little girl often asks to stay longer when we pick her up!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love and attention that Cerys (and myself) have had over the last 4.5 years. I have received, as a slightly clueless parent, lots of advice from weaning, to potty training and now I seem to have the hang of parenting…I will miss nursery so much, it has been such a big part of both our lives for so long now. I am also lucky enough to consider many of you friends.
