Curriculum for Excellence

This is a national curriculum introduced by the Scottish government in 2010. For the first time it encompasses children from 3 to 18 years so once you are familiar with this at nursery stage it will continue to underpin your child’s development throughout their schooling. Our aspiration is for all children to work with the four capacities to be: Successful Learners, Confident Individuals, Responsible Citizens and Effective Contributors.
